GastroANP is sponsoring a prospective trial of whole-practice naturopathic medicine for patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Our goal is to quantify how much naturopathic doctors are able to help patients with IBS in a 3-6 month time period, as measured by validated scales.

Our trial was approved by NUNM's Institutional Review Board in August, 2024 and is pre-registered at https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06721624. Our clinical investigators started recruiting patients with IBS in October. This clinical investigation is overseen by the research team at the Helfgott Research Institute.
